Info for Prep teachers

Children in Level 1 are developing their skills in a number of key areas, in particular overhand throws, jumps and landing. They are preparing for the Mini Olympics which will be occurring in August. Gymnastics and dance will also have a focus as we approach Term 4.

have put the equipment for mini Olympics activities in a space at the back of the gym. there is also a list of activities we usually run but we can modify/change some of these if we wish. Open to suggestions

Organisation: 3 Areas and rotate after 30 mins
All Grade 2 students begin on the Sprint events
Grade 1’s begin on Athletics modified circuit and Preps begin on the Novelty circuit.
